every person i know who hates beyonce is not a likable person. they are either insecure or pretentious as fuck. there has to be a correlation between not liking her and having a shitty personality.
i wonder if there are like actual stats about how much of ya lit marketed towards teens ages like 14-18… like about teen issues/teen characters etc is actually read by like.. moderately precocious / advanced 8-12 yr olds who’ve sort of already exhausted childrens lit.. like i read so many books about things i didn’t really understand or like care about like dating and drugs and high school and shit when i was like 9 or 10 lmao. it’s just weird cause ya lit is so… teenager-y but i think the window of time when actual teens actually read ya lit is so narrow cause by the time i was like, 13 or 14 i was like.. this is dumb i’m gonna read real books now… and i feel like thats prob a fairly common trajectory lol but idk
